This couple bought this Forest Grove, OR house recently and had all the fiberglass insulation in the attic removed. They were ready for a different contractor to re-insulate it.
Our insulation team started by air sealing the attic. This seals the holes and gaps between walls and framing that are notorious places for air to leak from inside the warm home to inside a cold attic. We then blew in TruSoft cellulose insulation to the R-49 level. Both of these solutions together instantly made a difference in their comfort inside their new home.
