Spray Foam Insulation Experts

Spray foam insulation is the best choice for insulation if you’re looking to increase your comfort & decrease your energy bills. Spray foam insulation is truly the best option for home insulation and here are a few reasons why. Spray Foam Insulation provides an air barrier due to its ability to fill gaps and cracks. It is also great at staying in the hard to reach areas because of its super-adhesive qualities. Spray foam insulation is also waterproof, unlike fiberglass and cellulose insulation. Water will not be able to pass through the foam which makes it an extremely durable and long-lasting product. Lastly, spray foam insulation is foolproof. Spray foam is sprayed as a liquid and then expands and hardens to fill voids and gaps. There is never any chance for an area to be missed or void to form. Once cured spray foam insulation will stay in place for decades to come and will never shift or settle like fiberglass. To ensure your home has the best insulation available and your energy bills are low, switch to spray foam insulation today!

Benefits of Spray Foam Insulation Include:

  • spray foam works in all areas of the home
  • has a greater R-value
  • acts as an air sealant
  • is waterproof
  • leaves no gaps

Home Insulation Company

All the heat that you pump throughout your home in the winter can cost more than you anticipated. One of the largest reasons for the high bill you see every month is that your home is not properly insulated and the heat is escaping outside. Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver is your Albany expert for all types of insulation including rigid foam, attic, crawl space, blown-in, and spray foam insulation. Wherever the air is escaping we can insulate it whether it be through walls, your basement, your attic, or in the crawl spaces.

Custom Home Energy Audits

Our goal is to make your Albany home's more comfortable, more health friendly, and less expensive to heat and cool. In our energy audit evaluation, we inspect your home and provide reports on the condition of major systems like the furnace, ductwork, a/c, and insulation. We then check air leakage areas throughout the house to identify weak points where you are losing energy. We then provide recommendations with realistic expectations for energy improvements and offer a free estimate for proposed work.

We recently bought a brand new home, and it has standing water in the crawl space. It was identified during our home inspection but we were told it was fixed. However, it's not fixed and we need an independent assessment to help us determine the issue.
Durillo PL SE in Albany
Current Trane A/C not cooling very well, unit more than 20 years old. There appears to be leaking around the base of the furnace/central ducting in the afternoon/evening. Would like replacement costs. May need a larger unit as we added 400 sq feet on in 2006. Would like this done within a week, if possible. May also need furnace upgrade too.

We have a double pained aluminum window that needs both a pane of glass (one was broken before we purchased home), and screens. We might also be interested in replacing the window with a vinyl one.
Ermine St SE in Albany
We have condensation forming on the inside of some of our walls. From what I have read, this is because the insulation is inadequate. The home was built in the 40's, and has newer aluminum siding. I have heard insulation can be blown between the walls without ripping large portions of the walls out.
in Albany
Our house was built in 1941 or so. We know there is no insulation under the floor. We do have new vinyl windows. We are told the attic insulation is sufficient. We are concerned about the pipes freezing and a musty odor coming from the crawl space.
Edgemont St Se in Albany

I own a duplex and it currently has 3 windows that are cracked and need to be replaced. I am considering replacing all 1 windows that are original to the unit, but not sure if I should, as I will likely be selling now that my husband is gone and no longer able to help me maintain them. I would like an estimate for all of the windows and one for just the 3 cracked windows.
