Underfloor of Vacation Home Near Neotsu, OR Spray Foamed For Warmer Floors
The owners of this vacation home near Neotsu, OR wanted the floors to be warmer and were glad to get a proposal from us as we offer different insulation options. They chose to use the longer-term solution of spray foam.
The added benefit is that spray foam fills in cracks and air seals the floor so the cold air cannot enter the home through the floor, and rodents do not like to chew into it.

Wet Crawl Space Insulation Replaced in Newport, OR
This Newport, OR homeowner’s sump pump stopped working and their crawl space was flooded. This caused the insulation in the crawl space to be soaked, and they called Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver to get an evaluation and estimate to remove and replace the insulation.
Our Energy Consultant found that the insulation was hanging down so it wasn’t doing much good! Our insulation crew removed all the old, wet insulation and replaced with R-25 fiberglass batt insulation. The client was happy we were on time and did the work correctly and says he will use us again.
Expanded View From Depoe Bay, OR Home's Windows With Simonton Daylight Max
These Depoe Bay, OR homeowners called us as a few of their windows in their vacation rental were leaking and had moisture issues. Because the view from their home was so nice, they chose to replace six of their windows with the Simonton Daylight Max series. These windows are designed to give the most viewing space possible with their small frame around the outside. They also have the tilt-in window for each cleaning. The homeowners told us they are very happy with the result.
Attic in Depoe Bay, OR Hardly Had Any Insulation
This homeowner is planning to sell his Depoe Bay, OR home and knew that the insulation in the attic was not adequate. The home originally had a flat roof and had a pitch put up over it, and there was just a bit of insulation in the attic but not enough to make the home comfortable!
Our 3-person insulation crew sealed the air leaks and then blew in TruSoft ™ cellulose insulation to the higher R-60 level to make the home much more comfortable and to increase the value for when it is put in the market.
Depoe Bay, OR Homeowners Needing Soundproofing Between Rooms
Most houses don’t have much insulation in the interior walls, and these Depoe Bay, OR homeowners found this out as the noise between the master bedroom and the bathroom was too much noise in the morning.
They found us on Home Advisor and called for an appointment. One of the best soundproofing materials is blown-in cellulose insulation. Each home is unique, and filling a wall cavity with insulation can present a challenge, so our Energy Consultant met with them to ensure this was something our insulation crew would be able to do. Plaster walls or dry walled walls that do not have good structural integrity are not good candidates for blown-in cellulose insulation.
The walls were perfect for blowing in cellulose, so one of our foreman and his assistant blew the cellulose in to the walls.
Siletz, OR Attic Needing to Be Re-Insulated and Sealed
These owners needed to re-insulate their Siletz, OR home’s attic now that they had completed a lot of remodel work. The attic insulation had never been adequate and with all the remodel work, there were areas that didn’t even have any insulation. (see photo)
After meeting with an Energy Consultant from Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver, they chose to have the attic sealed where the air was leaking, re-route the bath fan to the outside (rather than dumping the moist air into the attic!) and then our insulation crew blew in TruSoft™ cellulose to the higher R-60 value. This is now a much more comfortable home to live in!
Outer Walls In Yachats, OR Rental Home Insulated with TruSoft Blown-In Cellulose
This owner’s 2-bedroom rental property in Yachats, OR was needing insulation in the outer walls. As they were in the process of re-siding the home, it seemed like the best time to also take care of the wall insulation. They found us listed on Home Advisor and called for an appointment.
Our wall insulation crew was able to more easily fill the wall cavities with TruSoft™ cellulose insulation since the owner already had the siding off. The crew drilled a hole, filled each outer wall’s 2’ x 4’ cavity with the blown-in cellulose, and then plugged each hole. New siding was then installed.
Besides being a great insulation material, the cellulose also helps with soundproofing!

Our insulation crew removed all the old insulation, sealed the spots where air is leaking in, and then blew in Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation. That next owner is going to be more comfortable in this house than the current owner was!

Owners Take First Steps to Deal with Mouse-Infested Crawl Space in South Beach, OR
The owners of this home in South Beach, OR knew there was an issue under their home. When our Energy Consultant suited up, donned his respirator, and crawled under the home, he thought, “This is the worst rodent infestation I have ever seen.” Or smelled!
For the first step, the owners hired our company to remove all the old, nasty insulation being used by the rodents as nesting material and as toilets. Our crew then removed the old, very soiled vapor barrier.
Next step—to re-insulate. Closed-cell spray foam will be the best solution as it will seal the underfloor and not offer any place for rodents.
