This Salem, OR homeowner knew there was little to no insulation in the attic above, and adjacent, to the bedroom. Besides finding this to be the case, our energy consultant also discovered the bath fan was just dumping moist air into the attic!
The insulation crew from Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver removed the old insulation, air-sealed the leaks, installed can light covers, ducted the bath fan to the outside, and then re-insulated with TruSoft blown-in cellulose to the higher R-60 level.
