This homeowner called about wall and crawl space insulation. When our energy consultant investigated the home, the big culprit was the attic! There was hardly any insulation (see BEFORE photo) and there were can lights cut into the attic floor that were leaking air from the house into the attic.
She chose to move forward with the attic insulation. Our crew installed 14 can light covers, ducted the two bath fans to the outside (yes, they were dumping moist air into the attic!), and insulated with TruSoft blown-in cellulose. (AFTER photo) Her home is now much more comfortable to live in.
