Solutions Provided
The homeowner knew about issues under his house in the crawl space and contacted us for an estimate. One main concern was the ductwork that was leaking and didn’t have tight insulation covering it (see BEFORE photo).
The best solution here was to re-insulate the underfloor plus seal and insulate the ductwork is closed-cell spray foam! Our insulation installation crew started with removal of the old insulation. The crew then sprayed the underfloor and the ductwork with closed-cell spray foam (see AFTER photo).
This longer-term, more permanent solution instead of fiberglass will make this home more energy efficient plus animals do not use spray foam for nesting as they like to do with fiberglass.
