Church's Congregation Now More Comfortable During Services
Completion date: October 16, 2018
Location: Halsey, OR
This church in Halsey, OR wanted to make the church cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter for the congregation. They thought there was insulation in the attic so they needed ideas.
After finding our listing online, they called for an appointment. Our owner Josh met with them to talk about what they wanted to accomplish, and then he investigated the attic space above the church. There was only about six inches of insulation (see first photo), and this is not enough to do much insulating! It made sense that it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
To help the church to afford the insulating work, our owner Josh and our General Manager Bill volunteered their time to do the work. Where needed, they added in soffit vent baffles and then blew in TruSoft™ cellulose (see second photo) to the higher, more effective R-60 level.
Now the congregation is much more comfortable during services!
